Ahimsa House works with most domestic violence shelters in metro
Atlanta and Athens. This page contains a partial list of organizations
we work with; it will be updated periodically. If you do not see a
shelter in your area on this list, please do not assume we do not work
with them. We have just started this page!
Community Welcome House
The Community Welcome House serves women and children who
are domestic violence victims by providing refuge and facilitating
change. We
are a private, non-profit home located in Coweta County, and provide housing,
food, clothing, and other support services. We seek to resolve the crisis
of domestic violence by providing safety & security, promoting accountability,
assisting with the development of a support network, and facilitating self-sufficiency & positive
change. During 2005, we served 88 women and 86 children (for a total of
174 residents)." office/crisis line 770-304-0966
